The legacy of one of the greatest owners on the American sports landscape over the past 30 years, Patrick D. Bowlen was born with a 13-3 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals; the first of his 307 wins (combined regular and post season) as owner. The Broncos finished 1984 with an AFC best 13-3 record but lost in the divisional playoff game against Pittsburgh (ohhhh…the pain!!!).
