1. Shut Down the Run

This was something the Broncos excelled at last year. Teams simply couldn’t run the football on them. Even in the Super Bowl, Marshawn Lynch played one of his worst games. Terrance Knighton and Sylvester Williams will have the middle of the line locked up for Denver, and they have an opportunity to build off of the success they had at the end of last season where the Broncos were one of the best teams in the NFL against the run.

The Colts are going to try to run the ball a lot with a banged up offensive line, and they’ll also try to use the run to set up big pass plays down the field. The key for the Broncos is going to be shutting the run down, and making sure that Indy has to be one dimensional offensively.
