Win The Season Opener

“Just win, baby!”

Oh, that’s awkward. Wrong team…

In any case, Denver must follow the same motto. Getting off to a fast start was all too important for the Broncos in 2013 and it is again the case. The second hardest schedule in the NFL coupled with the short-term losses of receiver Wes Welker (suspension) and linebacker Danny Trevathan (injury) may make that feat difficult to accomplish, though.

A 6-0 start like they had in 2013 may be out of the question but expect the Broncos to still be well above the .500 mark at midseason’s point.

The Colts are the only team Manning has not beaten in his 17 year career. A victory over his former football family would surely be a great way to start off the season.
