Test Indy’s Defense

Yes, I know I just wrote that Denver should chew some major clock, but that doesn’t mean they can’t take chances over the top of the Colt’s defense.

The Broncos lacked the threat of the deep ball last season and will try to atone for their shortcomings in that facet of the offense. Receiver Emmanuel Sanders will be the prime candidate Sunday night.

His pure deep-threat speed and quickness will create some big-play opportunities, especially with much of Indy’s defense focusing on stopping the likes of Demaryious Thomas and tight end Julius Thomas.

If the preseason is any indicator, they’ll surely take shots down the field throughout the course of their season opener.
