3 – The number of franchise Super Bowl titles the Broncos wish to have by season’s end. Elway won the only two franchise titles as a QB, but wants to add one as a GM to bring a 3rd trophy home to the Mile High City.

2 – Times a team who lost the Super Bowl returned the following season to win the super bowl. The last time it occurred was in 1972. The Broncos face a daunting history in their quest for that 3rd title, but they have the just the history-setting QB to break that trend.

1 – Super Bowl won by Peyton Manning, a number many of his detractors believe should be much higher, and a number exceeded by little brother, but most importantly a number Manning and the Broncos will add 1 to this season!
