This is the area of the team where some of the toughest cuts/roster moves will come. There are rumors swirling that rookie UDFA Kenny Anunike, one of the team’s best rookies this preseason, will be able to get to IR and be stashed for a year. That might not seem like a ‘win’ for Anunike to be on IR, but he would get to stay with the Broncos if they would have otherwise had to let him go.
Another tough cut here is Sione Fua, who flashed at times in the preseason some dominant interior play. The big thing here is you have a veteran in Kevin Vickerson and a really versatile, hungry player in Mitch Unrein battling it out for spots. Both players had really good preseason finale performances. This is a hard spot to project.
