There are a couple of guys here who are question marks. You could swap out Painter and Ben Garland, or Garland and Cornick. The reasoning behind this unit’s selections outside the top five is as such:

Schofield is a third round pick, no way the team is letting him go now. He can play both tackle and guard, so that sort of takes away from the option of keeping both Garland and Painter. Schofield, though, is also probably not the primary backup tackle at this point. Paul Cornick seems to have taken over as the top backup tackle, which I think puts him on the 53.

Montgomery has a roster spot here by default as the only backup center to do anything in the preseason. Matt Paradis will be on the practice squad unless the team feels they flubbed that draft pick.
