The Denver Broncos capped off a really solid preseason with a blowout win against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night, and now have some really tough decisions to make with final cuts due by 4PM ET on Saturday, August 30th.

And when I say tough decisions, I’m talking about cutting guys that have been part of this team’s resurgence, even from before John Elway and John Fox were part of it.

It’s going to be one of the worst couple of days of the year for these players, so for me to try and make this seem like I’m putting together a roster on a Madden video game would be both insensitive and just flat out wrong.

That said, this is an organization, a business, and the business of the NFL says that you can only keep 53 players. As the Broncos’ depth continues to grow astronomically as it has over the last three years, cutting players gets harder and harder.

Based on what I’ve seen at a couple of practices and in preseason games, as well as read in reports from those who were on hand at Broncos camp daily, here’s my projection of what could happen as the Broncos make their final roster cuts by Saturday afternoon.
