Offensive Tackle

Ryan Clady: A

Chris Clark C+

Michael Schofield: B

Paul Cornick: B+

Overall: B+

The tackle play for the Broncos was better this game than the last. Their weakest was starting RT Chris Clark. He was getting pushed back often and even got beaten for a sack on Manning, which he walked away and didn’t offer to help him up, but that part didn’t affect his grade. Schofield was much improved, he looked really good out there. Still room for improvement, but progress is great to see. The left tackle play was a lot better. Ryan Clady was excellent. Only two plays had a negative effect on his grade, both were in the running game. Cornick has a tendency to use one arm to block, but he succeeds at it. He was the #2 RT and is now set as the backup LT. He is looking to make the team as a backup swing tackle. He is better than rookie Schofield, who also should make the team, but not be the main backup OT.
