Strongside Linebacker

Von Miller: A

Lerentee McCray: B

Shaquil Barrett: B+

Overall: B+

Von Miller was back healthy and showed he is back to his 2012 form. McCray could be a solid starter on any team, instead he is depth on the Broncos. Against the Texans he showcased a solid, well-rounded skill set on defense. Shaquil Barrett has become one of my favorite young guys on the defense. His game is well-rounded. Against the Texans he came in as the #3 MLB, seeing the time before Steven Johnson. Barrett also saw time as the Will and Sam linebacker. He has been used at every LB position and as a DE. To company that fact is his well-rounded game that cannot be understated. He has shined as a rusher, despite never getting the sack, he has shined as a run stopper and in coverage. Coverage is actually where he looks best at. He also is great on special teams, often placed in the middle of the push on punts.
