Shaq Barrett, Steven Johnson, Corey Nelson…They’re all fighting for one spot. You would automatically think Johnson, a special teams ace, has the edge in this competition and he very well may. But Barrett has proven in the preseason to be one of the Broncos’ best young players defensively, grading positively from PFF and working at multiple spots. Other than that 7th LB spot, this position is set in stone.
