Preseason matchups don’t often mean much, but this weeks game pitting the Broncos vs. Texans should give us our closest look at a regular season game before the Broncos kick off their 2014 campaign against the Colts on Sunday night football.

I’m one of those ‘sick’ fans who actually enjoys the preseason, even games 1, 2, and 4. Despite the fact that a ton of players are going to be trying to make the roster, the Broncos will get a closer look at their first units on both sides of the ball, get into a rhythm for two or three quarters, and hopefully leave with a substantial lead on the scoreboard.

With that, here are five predictions I have for the Broncos’ regular season ‘dress rehearsal’ if you will as they take on J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, and the Houston Texans.
