The Denver Broncos announced they have waived/injured UDFA rookie defensive end Greg Latta.

No corresponding roster move was announced, and it’s likely none will. The Broncos have to have their roster cut down to 75 players by next Tuesday, and will begin making moves to whittle their current unit down this weekend after their game against the Houston Texans.

Latta went down with an injury in the first week of training camp, and was never able to get back on the field. A 6-foot-5, 260 pound defensive end out of Purdue, Latta was relatively new to the game of football and was something of a surprise UDFA addition having had just 32 tackles and one sack in 12 games in his entire senior season.
