Offseason signee receiver Emmanuel Sanders was brought in to replace and possibly improve upon the production of former Bronco Eric Decker.

Sanders entered the preseason surrounded by much intrigue and an enormous amount of potential that he had garnered in training camp. His ability to play in the slot, speed to take the top off of a defense, and savvy to go over the middle and haul in tough catches make him an immediate mismatch for any defense.

Thus far, however, he has yet to make a catch and was held out of Sunday’s game for precautionary reasons. Bronco fans will have to wait another week to see if Sanders is just an illusion or if he can get in on the action with the rest of the offense.
