Wide Receiver (6, 12/53)

Demaryius Thomas; Emmanuel Sanders; Wes Welker, Cody Latimer; Andre Caldwell; Jordan Norwood

Will the Broncos keep six wide receivers? That’s going to be tough to do, but without a viable punt returner anywhere else, it seems like at least a somewhat likely scenario.

We’ve seen pre-season receivers amount to virtually nothing in regular season play before, so there’s reason to pause in regard to Jordan Norwood’s breakout game on Thursday night. However, the way he looked catching the football as well as as a punt returner leads me to believe he could take a roster spot.

The other five spots should be locked in, set in stone. If the Broncos choose to keep only five, you know who they’ll likely be.
