Running Back (4, 6/53)

Montee Ball; Ronnie Hillman; C.J. Anderson; Juwan Thompson

The Broncos kept four backs last year, and I’ve been told they’re likely to keep four again this year despite the fact that they could skimp on the RB position and maybe keep an extra one on the practice squad if they want to.

With Ball and Hillman pretty much locked into spots, I think there’s a huge opportunity for someone to step up and make a name for themselves in the pre-season. Thus far, that player is Juwan Thompson, who looked great carrying the ball against Seattle with six carries for 59 yards.

Kapri Bibbs is also competing for a spot, and could be bound for the practice squad.
