Nate Irving: Nate Irving is going into his fourth year and has not played up to expectations. He has been durable, playing in 46 of 48 games in his first three seasons. However, the Broncos are looking for a guy to be an every down middle linebacker. As of now, it’s a wide open competition. With an impressive preseason, Irving can take hold of the position and hopefully be a pillar in the middle for year to come. I believe that Irving controls his own destiny. If he takes his play to the next level, I believe it’s his job to lose. If not, I think the Broncos will cut bait. Either way, Nate can make some strides with a good performance against Seattle.
