You never know when you’re going to catch lightning in a bottle. See: Davis, Terrell.

The Broncos have unearthed gems in the pre-season in the past, and this year should be no different. We saw the emergence of guys like Chris Harris in the last few years, and the Broncos have a handful of players on the roster this year who might be on the fringe of making the team that could step into bigger roles in the future.

Watching the pre-season games, you get a first-hand look at how these young players are progressing, how they respond to the pressure of a game situation, and what players’ positive practice reports are actually carrying over into the games.

You want to be that person who watched the breakout play of “player x’s” career. You want to say you watched first hand the emergence of the next Denver Broncos diamond in the rough.
