Montee Ball to Have Emergency Appendectomy
Denver Bronco Running Back Montee Ball was not present at Broncos practice on Monday. Immediately there was speculation as to why and we now have an answer, Ball will have an emergency Appendectomy.
No need to worry, as Ball is expected to be ready for the season opener against the Colts. An Appendectomy is typically performed as an emergency procedure when the patient is suffering from acute appendicitis which in layman’s terms is the inflammation of the appendix.
This set back for Ball opens up a huge opportunity for the rest of the running backs on the roster to make their case for the spots after Ball. Ronnie Hillman and CJ Anderson will receive first team reps, while Juwan Thompson, Kapri Bibbs and Brennan Clay will all see extra time as a result. This will especially big for those 3 backs, as they are fighting for the last RB spot on the roster.
Our prayers are with Montee Ball and his family and we all wish him a speedy recovery.
