The Denver Broncos had to make some changes for training camp this year, as it pertains to fan attendance. Because of construction on the team’s new facilities at Dove Valley, unfortunately, fans aren’t allowed to attend training camp.
To atone for this, the Broncos have scheduled 3 open practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, which Broncos Country can attend. The first was last Saturday. The second, an open practice, was Wednesday. The third will be a scrimmage, which is tomorrow.
More than 41,000 fans attended the summer scrimmage last year, so if you want prime seats, be sure to get there early. There will be amenities available, and things to keep you busy whilst you wait, such as the Noble Energy Sports Legends Mall, which opens at 8:30am. The gates actually open at 8:45.
Here’s everything you need to know.
- Parking lots open at 7am
- Scrimmage begins at 10:45
- Admission and Parking are free
- Weather is expected to be sunny with a high of 84 degrees
The Broncos will of course be in full pads. The players are starving for fan support and interaction, so be sure to bring it tomorrow.
PO will be there in force. And for those who can’t attend, don’t sweat it. We’ll have full reports and analysis, following the scrimmage.
