Now it’s time to take a look at how the Denver Broncos have done historically with the Bye.

* The first thing that jumped out at me while researching this data is the number 7. As Broncos fans, it is a number near and dear to our hearts, but I didn’t realize until now that the Broncos bye week has fallen on Week 7 a total of six times, including 1996, 1997, and 1998, when the Broncos won 39 regular season games and two Super Bowls.
* Week 9 has been the Broncos’ bye week most often, occurring seven different times (three playoff berths).
* The Broncos have had the bye week fall in Week 4 twice before; in 1993 (when there were two byes) and in 2006. Both were 9-7 seasons for Denver, with the former ending after a Wild-Card loss to the then-Los Angeles Raiders.
* The Broncos have achieved double-digit wins in 10 different seasons since 1990. Their Bye Week occurred in either Week 7, Week 9, or Week 10 in all of those seasons.
