Now that we’ve seen all the teams, let’s take a look at which Bye Week correlates to the most success.
* Teams with byes before Week 4 and after Week 10 only made it to the Conference Championship round 14 times, or 15.2%, but eight of those 14 reached the Super Bowl and five of those eight emerged victorious.
* No team with a bye in Weeks 1, 11, 13, 15, or 17 has ever advanced to the Super Bowl.
* Teams with byes in Week 8 have the most Super Bowl winners (4) since the bye was introduced.
* Teams with Week 4 byes, as the Broncos have in 2014, have reached the Conference Championship round seven times, with two of the seven becoming Super Bowl Champions.
