Week 14: Buffalo Bills @ Denver Broncos (12/7/14 2:05 pm MST)

E.J. Manuel is  coming off a  rookie season he is hoping to improve greatly upon. Although he battled injuries almost from day one, Buffalo’s first-round pick in 2013 showed flashes at times but just couldn’t find the consistency to make the Bills a legitimate threat in the AFC East. Manuel will have to double his win total from a year ago to avoid hearing the “bust” label.

Buffalo hopes it got Robin to Manuel’s Batman when it traded up to land the marquee wide receiver in this year’s draft, Sammy Watkins. Manuel will need to do much better than his 6.4 PY/A if the Bills are going to contend for a wild-card berth like many pundits are predicting. I don’t think they’re there yet but Manuel will make great strides this season if he can stay between the lines. That won’t help him much against the likes of Peyton Manning and AFC East Rival Tom Brady (twice).

Advantage: Manning/Broncos
