Orlando Franklin. 74. player. 45. When Orlando Franklin was drafted in the 2011 NFL draft, there were some questions about if he would play at a guard position or tackle. He ended up playing right tackle and did so at a high level. He with Clady were one of the best booked tackle duos in the NFL for three years. However, this offseason the move was made to kick Orlando Franklin to left guard.

All reports say that he is doing a mighty fine job with the transition. Pairing Franklin with Clady on the left side puts a lot of power, both in the run game and pass game, on that side. The fact that he is going a good job transitioning should come as no surprise. During college he predominantly played at guard with some time at tackle.

Franklin was a really good right tackle for the Denver Broncos. When they lost LG Zane Beadles, it was no surprise when Franklin was kicked inside. He will no doubt make the team. With this being the final year of his contract, look for him to attempt to elevate his play.
. Left Guard. Denver Broncos
