The Denver Broncos training camp is about to start at the end of this month, players have to report to Dove Valley on the 23rd to be exact. John Elway, John Fox, Jack Del Rio and Adam Gase have quite the job to do to figure out what 53 players will make the regular season roster. It is a long way until then, so anything can happen. Hopefully players don’t make the roster or make the roster due to injuries. After last year it will be great to see the team stay healthy, but of course injuries are almost a given in the game of football.
Some players are obviously going to make the roster, either due to, history in the league, prowess at their position, or the contract they were given in the offseason. But once you get past those players, that’s where the fight begins. Some players have to fight to keep their spot and keep those players who are fighting to take their spot, off. Of course there is another fight going on for some players as well. Certain players qualify to be placed on the practice squad. Those players are fighting with each other for that practice squad spot.
So let us begin…
