Not making the cut is Joel Dreessen. The final spot came down to Gerell Robinson and Joel. While Robinson is young, healthy and cheap, Dreessen is old, battled injuries all last year, and expensive for a fourth tight end. With a focus on improving the run game, Dreessen being a good blocking tight end could be the only thing that saves him.

There is a long way until September. Training camp has yet to start and neither has the preseason. Anything can happen; injuries, bad play etc. Right now, it’s impossible to say just what will happen. Each player is going to keep fighting for their dreams to come true. At the end of the day, they all can’t make the roster and John Elway, John Fox and company, have to figure out what is best for the team going forward. It is every player’s and coach’s goal to not only make it back to the Super Bowl, but to come away with the Lombardi Trophy
