The Denver Broncos traded up with the San Francsico 49ers to acquire the 56th overall pick, and have selected Indiana WR Cody Latimer.
I have been banging the table for the Broncos to take a wide receiver in this year’s draft, and they traded up to do it. Latimer was getting a lot of first round love late in the process, and this is a phenomenal pick in my opinion.
The Broncos replace Eric Decker’s size on the edge with a big kid who can catch the ball at its highest point, and has more of a dynamic skill set than Decker coming out.
Latimer is going to be a stud in Denver and could see some time early in his career. Great pick.
