Denver Broncos GM John Elway addressed the media earlier this week to let them know (nothing) a little something about the team’s plans in the draft, and he left the door wide open for the team to make a move either up or down the board, as well as staying put in the first round.

Apparently, the rumors are heating up that Denver is talking about trading up in Thursday’s draft:

So what’s different about this than what John Elway indicated in his pre-draft presser?

Nothing.

Especially if you have an agenda and don’t necessarily want the Broncos to give up a bunch of picks in order to move up in a ridiculously deep draft.

Then this conversation happened, and had me shaking my head (SMH)…

Yuck.

IF John Elway were to trade multiple picks to move up into the top 20 picks and take Blake Bortles, here are a few appropriate reactions.

1. Puke

2. Diarrhea

3. Curses

4. Throw remote

5. Spit on laptop

6. Stop caring about the Broncos (LOL yeah right)

7. Complain relentlessly

8. Never understand

This is not happening. I am 99.9 percent sure. Sure, if the Broncos really felt like a QB was the best player available at 31 overall, I’d be open to that idea.

But to give up picks and take a third-string QB to try and help a team with Super Bowl aspirations?

You’re kidding.

Laughable/Cry-able.

Anyway, there’s your first substantial rumor from someone other than Elway about the Broncos possibly trading up. Stay tuned.
