Get your popcorn ready.
It’s hard for me to even write these articles because I’m staring intently at Twitter, waiting for the next piece of major news to break. The great news is for Broncos fans, after signing T.J. Ward and Aqib Talib, John Elway and company aren’t yet done. Apparently they are the front-runners for recently released DeMarcus Ware of the Dallas Cowboys, who is making his way to Denver.
This is simply amazing. The Broncos are putting together a free agent class that fans would have been called delusional fro dreaming up. Adding DeMarcus Ware would–at least on paper–give the Broncos a very explosive, very potent pass rush duo with Von Miller.
John Elway is clearly serious about making this team better after an embarrassing defeat in the Super Bowl, and he knows what it’s going to take to get it done.
This is all boggling my mind as I’m sure it is yours. I never saw any of this coming but yet we wait and see what tricks Elway has up his sleeve for us on day two of the new league year.
