A Dwindling Market for the Denver Broncos?

As a follow up to my article earlier today in relation to my free agency shopping wish list, it appears that one of the preferred items is sold out with no rain check available. New York Giants defensive end, Justin Tuck is reported by an NFL insider to be re-signing with the G-Men. The reported amount if his annual salary will be $3 million but as of yet, there is no word on the term of the deal.
As just reported on the Drew, Scott, and Sandy Show on 104.3 The Fan, one of the safety options that John Elway coveted, Former San Francisco 49ers safety, Donte Whitner has agreed to a deal with the Cleveland Browns. While that is the bad news, the good news is that should mean that T.J. Ward will be available and not re-upping with the Browns. As an aside, is this a hint that 49ers embattled head coach, Jim Harbaugh is getting ready to cut ties with San Francisco to take the head job in Cleveland? It has been rumored.
Also reported on The Fan is that former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end, Michael Johnson was wooed by Lovey Smith (insert my bad Thurston Howell III impersonation calling for Lovey here) in Tampa Bay.

Can somebody please tell me what the Chicago Bears were thinking when the fired Lovey after the 2012 season? I’m still scratching my head over that one.

OK, so now that the dominoes are falling, let’s see who changes his address to Centennial, Colorado.
