Thanks for the buzz kill, NFL Insider guys.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is a great reporter and NFL inside man, a guy who has provided us with a ton of great news about the Broncos and free agency news, but he brought some really disappointing news to the desk on Wednesday, just four days prior to the biggest game of the season.

He said that the Broncos not only expect Moreno to test free agency, but they don’t expect to re-sign him.

The Broncos have some big name free agents coming up in the next two years, and they obviously can’t give out big cash to Knowshon when you have guys like Chris Harris, Von Miller, Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, and others with contracts coming up in the next two years.

Unless Moreno signs a team-friendly deal, he may have to get his money while he can somewhere else while the Broncos move along with Montee Ball as the featured tailback.

That’s pretty hard to stomach, considering the season Moreno just put together, but the team obviously loves Ball and what he brings to the table.

Here’s hoping this game isn’t Moreno’s last as a Bronco, and if it is, hopefully he goes out with a win.
