The Denver Broncos host the San Diego Chargers in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs. With a win against San Diego, Denver would need just one more win in the AFC Championship Game to reach the Super Bowl on February 2. Fans in Denver are excited about the possibility of a Super Bowl trip, especially after quarterback Peyton Manning spent the regular season breaking the single-season records for passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Denver still needs to win two games before they can start making travel plans to New Jersey. The Broncos were in this same situation last season as the No. 1 seed coming off a bye getting to host the No. 6 seed in the Divisional Round. Unfortunately for Denver, that six-seed last season was the Baltimore Ravens, who won 38-35 in double overtime and would go on to eventually win the Super Bowl.

Their opponent this year could be just as pesky. The Broncos and Chargers played each other twice this year with Denver winning the first game by eight and San Diego winning the second game by seven. If the Broncos can get through the Chargers, they will face either the New England Patriots or Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game in Denver. Both of those teams defeated Denver during the regular season.
