It’s set in stone. The Denver Broncos will host the San Diego Chargers next Sunday for a 2:30 p.m. MST kickoff.

The Broncos went 1-1 with the Chargers in the regular season. Denver lost its home meeting on Dec. 12 by seven points.

A few things to note about the loss:

  • The Broncos rushed for a season low of  18 yards on 11 carries.
  • The team ran a season low of 54 plays.
  • WR Keenan Allen hauled in two touchdowns.
  • The Broncos went 2-for-9 on third down while the Chargers went 6-for-12
  • The Bolts owned the clock with a 38:49 time of possession

It’s hard to believe that the Broncos could lose at home twice in one season to the Chargers. Of course, after seeing what happened last January, we can’t count any team out of it. The playoffs are a different beast.

The Broncos have had all week to let their bodies recover a little bit and get some mental reps with extra film study.

Now it’s time for the guys in orange and blue to send that bolo tie-wearing QB home for year.
