Ernie Sims Talking Garbage, Should be Ready to be Roasted

Cowboys linebacker Ernie Sims must be a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
Instead of faking respect for the best football player on the planet right now, Sims decided to express his frustrations:
“I’m sick of hearing about Peyton Manning,” Sims said, per The Dallas Morning News. “We just got to go out there and do what we’ve got to do.”
“You hear it all the time when a guy walks into the locker room: ‘Peyton Manning threw for four touchdowns, this and that.’ Yeah, he’s a great player. You can’t take that away from him. But at the end of the day, we’re all competitors. And me being a competitor, I don’t like that. I am ready to play football.”
Aside from the fact that Sims gave no valid reasons for disliking the hype about Manning, this is a pointless comment/set of comments on multiple levels.
Sims is talking directly about chatter in HIS OWN locker room! Unbelievable. His teammates can’t stop talking about Manning. Astounding. Actually, I don’t blame him for being upset. That’s pretty funny.
No doubt the Broncos heard about Sims’ comments, and while Peyton Manning is too good in front of the media and in the public eye to say he’s got something extra for Sims at this point, there’s no doubt the Broncos will have a little something extra for him on a play or two to let him know that his comments are not welcome, even in his own house.
