Champ Bailey might have no choice BUT to come back in the Broncos’ week three matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

If Bailey does come back, it might turn out to be perfect timing as the Broncos lost Tony Carter last night to an ankle injury, and he was seen in a walking boot after last night’s game.

Carter injured his right ankle during a punt return and was replaced by Kayvon Webster, who actually did a great job all things considered. Filling in for Champ Bailey, Tony Carter has played some pretty great football for the Broncos.

Through the team’s first three games, he leads the NFL with eight passes broken up and had his first interception against the New York Giants.

If Carter is unable to go vs. the Eagles, it will mean a lot more snaps for the rookie Kayvon Webster, and hopefully Champ Bailey.
