The offseason from hell continues for the Denver Broncos. On the week that training camp is to begin, Pro Bowl linebacker Von Miller is facing a four-game suspension for violating the league’s  policy.

This comes from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

If Miller violated the PED policy then it means he’s had one violation. If he violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy, it mean’s he’s had more than one violation.

Miller would be the fourth Broncos player to be suspended under the league’s drug/PED policy since March 2012.

If Miller is in fact suspended for four games, it means that he would miss the home opener against the Ravens as well as the games against the Giants, Raiders, and Eagles.

While Miller’s presence on the field will be missed, the Broncos should be able to go at least 3-1 in their first four games if not 4-0.

The Broncos already lost sack man Elvis Dumervil to the Ravens. The team signed Shaun Phillips in the offseason, but may go the route of signing John Abraham as well.
