Rhymes with Orange and Blue: Was Ball the right call?

The Bronco draft choices have been read,
So it’s time for some Orange and Blue rhymes.
The choice I can’t get through my head,
Is that they passed on Lacey two times!

The Broncos number one draft Pick
Was Sylvester Williams from UNC.
He has a swim move that’s real sick.
Denver got one more big time DT!

Denver made a great choice in Sylvester.
The D will be tough to beat.
With Shaun Phillips, Ayers, and Miller,
Joe Flacco will be dead meat!

Pick two was the most exciting of all.
Denver drafted their future RB!
As they chose Wisconsin’s Montee Ball,
While passing over Eddie Lacy.

These backs will always be bound,
Like Royal and DeSean Jackson were.
Hopefully this time around,
A much better result will occur!

Montee was a Heisman finalist,
He’ll be a stud as far as we know.
Did Denver choose the right guy on their list?
Or will he be another Moreno?

They went back to defense in the third.
CB Kayvon Webster could be a fit.
Raw, tough, and talented is the word.
He has track star speed and loves to hit.

They picked a quick edge rusher in round five.
‘Q’ Smith comes with some buyer beware.
This QB attacker has lots of drive,
But he’s coming off an ACL tear.

The last three were Receiver, Tackle, and QB.
For depth these guys will work out greatly.
Of course NFL starters they all want to be.
Like low picks Sharpe, Stink and Brady.

Please join us again next Tuesday.
We’ll check out the Defense’s new look.
