Lance Ball averaged 3.8 yards per carry last season, which was a career low, but the Denver Broncos like him enough to offer him another chance. Ball signed a $1.323 million tender Monday afternoon. Ball won’t receive the money until he makes the week one roster. He earned $540,000 last season.

Ball came into the league undrafted out of the University of Maryland where he ranked fourth in school history in rushing yards and he tied for fourth in rushing touchdowns. As a pro, he has 192 career carries for 801 yards with two touchdowns as well as 27 receptions for 230 yards.
