NFL Mock Draft, Denver Broncos Select DT Devon Still
By Editorial Staff
21. Cincinnati Bengals
Stephan Hill
WR, Georgia Tech
The fastest receiver at the combine will be able to stretch the field for Andy Dalton. This would be a great one-two punch for an up and coming offense.
22. Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta)
Coby Fleener
TE, Stanford
23. Detroit Lions
Mark Barron
S, Alabama
24. Pittsburgh Steelers
Jerel Worthy
DT/NT, Michigan State
25. Denver Broncos
Devon Still
DT, Penn State
The Broncos lost Brodrick Bunkley to the Saints in free agency and they desperately need a tackle to help veteran Ty Warren. Still is the perfect guy. As a senior dealing with the Penn State scandal, Still had 55 tackles (17 for a loss), and 4.5 sacks. He’s dealt with setbacks and he is wise beyond his years. Great guy to have on the field and in the locker room.
26. Houston Texans
Kendall Wright
WR, Baylor
27. New England Patriots (from New Orleans)
Nick Perry
DE, USC
28. Green Bay Packers
Andre Branch
DE/OLB, Clemson
29. Baltimore Ravens
Dont’a Hightower
ILB, Alabama
This is a guy that belongs in the hard-nosed AFC North. He’s a giant physical linebacker that sheds blocks, and his size makes him difficult to plan for. This would be a great addition to the Ravens’ already tough-to-score-on defense.
30. San Francisco 49ers
Mohamed Sanu
WR, Rutgers
31. New England Patriots
Jonathan Martin
T, Stanford
32. New York Giants
David Wilson
RB, Virginia Tech
Running back isn’t the Giants’ biggest need, but they’ve built through the draft so successfully because they take the best player available. Wilson did well well at the combine and he was impressive in interviews.
