The Broncos go defense again. In the 6th round, the team went with inside linebacker Mike Mohamed from California with the 189th overall pick.
Mohamed (6’3”, 239 lbs.) was a three-year starter for the Golden Bears, and led the team in tackles his junior year. In that year, he had 105 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 3 interceptions. During his senior year, Mohamed had 91 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception.
Mohamed seems like a well rounded linebacker and should give the Broncos some depth at the position.
