It feels like I was just standing in the bowels of frigid Gillette Stadium waiting for the Broncos to open up their locker room for the final post-game media session of the season.

Now we’re deep into May and at the beginning of the team’s OTA sessions. The Broncos will have three practices this week, three next week, and four the week after. Then on June 12, the team will have a three day mandatory mini-camp which is their last before training camp opens at the end of July.

Here is the major rule for these practice sessions according to the CBA:

No one-on-one offense vs. defense drills are permitted (i.e., no offensive linemen vs. defensive linemen pass rush or pass protection drills, no wide receivers vs. defensive backs bump-and-run drills, and no one-on-one special teams drills involving both offense and defense are permitted).  Special teams drills (e.g., kicking team vs. return team) are permitted, provided no live contact occurs.” – Pro Football Talk
