Thanks to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post, we have a nice outline of what the Broncos schedule will look like now that the lockout is over.

Tuesday: Players under contract will be allowed inside Dove Valley to go through voluntary workouts and meet with coaches. The team can start to sign rookies, draft picks and undrafted players. The team also can start making trades and start negotiating (but not signing) with unrestricted free agents.

Wednesday: All Broncos players required to report to Dove Valley for the start of training camp. Players will take their physicals, and coach John Fox will hold his first full-squad meeting.

Thursday: The first practice of the Fox era is tentatively scheduled to run from 8:50-11:15 a.m.. That session will be open to the public. Meanwhile, the team will now be allowed to cut players.

Friday: Teams can sign unrestricted free agents. Contracts will all be on hold until the CBA is officially ratified.

Thursday, Aug. 4: The atest day the 2011 league year can begin, though it might start sooner depending on how quickly the CBA is ratified by players. By this date, all teams must be under the $120.375 million salary cap.

Thursday, Aug. 11: The Broncos play their first preseason game at Dallas. – Lindsay Jones (Denver Post)

Head on out to Dove Valley on Thursday for the Broncos first official practice that is open to the public.

It’s official. There will be a full NFL season in 2011! Thanks to many hours spent in meetings and in courtrooms, the NFL’s owners and players are in agreement and a new CBA was voted on, putting off any more labor issues until 2021.

While it was frustrating to hear the daily battles between the two sides, and downright scary to think of no NFL season at all, we can finally move on to the important issues surrounding the sport, and more specifically, surrounding our team.

Free agency is in full swing. Months of action will be crammed into mere days as training camp begins soon.

The Broncos will be going after a big-name free agent running back. John Fox has said that he’s making the running game the number one priority in free agency.

Fox will also be addressing the team’s needs at defensive tackle during free agency.
