- McJaygate has two sides of the story. Which side do you fall on? Team Cutler or Team McD? Woody Paige is sticking with Cutler while fellow Denver Post columnist, Mark Kiszla, would like to see Cutler go.

- If anyone is questioning the heart of backup QB, Chris Simms, check yourself.

- Yahoo Sports called out the Broncos for “Worst Shopping Spree” in their free-agency awards.

- Do Chiefs fans really know what they’re talking about when discussing the Broncos? Not in a million years!

- Longsnapper Mike Leach just signed with Arizona. Sad to see him go.

- Jaguar fans are hoping to get Cutler in a trade. I don’t think that’s happening.

- Daniel Graham and Peyton Hillis think breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Weekly briefs:

- Eddie Royal is arguably the most versatile player in the league right now.

- The recently retired John Lynch has one regret during his time with the Broncos.

- Champ Bailey could make his return against the Raiders.

- Two former Razorbacks face each other on Sunday. Peyton Hillis may be starting while Darren McFadden may start the game on the bench. Go figure.

- Watching from the sidelines is killing Selvin Young.

- Jay Cutler should treat every quarter like it’s the fourth quarter.

- Why is Cutler so successful this year? Give credit to the big man out of Boise.

- Do you think some players from the Broncos deserve to go to the Pro Bowl? I sure as hell do.

- Mike Leach spends his days off in the hospital. No, he’s not sick.

- Don’t call Jay Cutler a gunslinger. He knows where he’s throwing the ball unlike Ben Rothlisberger in his rookie year (Rocky Mountain News).

- Oldie but goodie, John Lynch, is ready to compete for a starting job on defense (Denver Post). Hmmm, Brett Favre could learn something from him.

- Dad thinks that Boss Bailey will play harder now that he’s playing alongside brother Champ. Boss agrees with pops (Denver Post). Let’s hope that’s the case when he goes up against Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates.

- With Jason Elam and Todd Sauerbrun gone, the Broncos look to a new group of young kickers (Yahoo Sports). There is no doubt that an important field goal will be missed this season, and we will wonder if Elam would have made it. My guess is that he would have, but let’s see what the new guys can do.

- I like to give the stagehand credit. The guy behind the curtains making everything run smoothly. That’s why you should take a look at the bio of long snapper, Mike Leach (Bronco Talk).

- According to ESPN, Elvis Dumervil will be one of four players to bust out in 08′ (ESPN The Magazine).
