I’m convinced things always come full circle. Look no further than Tim Tebow’s 316 passing yards, and his 31.6 yards per pass play in his first playoff game. For some reason, 316 is a marked number for Tebow.

In college, Tebow was banned from scribbling the bible verse John 3:16 on his eye black.  The verse reads, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

If there were a Broncos 3:16, it would probably read, “For Tebow so loved, that whoever believes in him shall not be lost, but have eternal faith.”

The referees for Sunday’s game were Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John also. Ok not really, but Tebow went 10-for-21 passing with two touchdowns and zero interceptions for a passer rating of 125.6. He added 10 carries for 50 yards and a rushing touchdown as well. With that he joins Joe Montana and Jeff Garcia as the only players in NFL postseason history to pass for 300 yards and two scores in addition to rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown.
