For those of you thinking that the New Orleans Saints bounty-system wasn’t that big of a deal, you HAVE TO give this a listen.

This is an audio clip of former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams before the Saints played the San Francisco 49ers. WARNING: It’s not safe for work.

Williams says stuff like ”He becomes human when we f—-’ take out that outside ACL.”

At this point, we aren’t sure whether the league had this evidence prior to levying its disciplinary action (Williams was suspended for the 2012 season). If they didn’t, they will likely reopen the case. I can’t see Williams being allowed to coach in the NFL again if the case is reopened.

Now that the public is made aware of Williams’ comments, it would be a poor business and ethical decision to reinstate the coach.

Jim Mora booked it out of town before the Broncos could nab him as defensive coordinator, so now the team has turned to Saints’ secondary coach Dennis Allen. The team met with Allen today in Charlotte, NC. 

Allen works under defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who the Broncos tried to interview, but Williams turned down the request. Allen has been with the Saints for five seasons, and worked as a defensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons for four years.  

His extensive experience in multiple areas on defense is appealing considering the Broncos need help stopping the run and the pass.

]]> Maybe the stars are aligned and the perfect coach is set to join the Broncos staff as head coach. That’s the only reason that the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints could have lost to the Seattle Seahawks during the bye week, right?

Because the Saints’ season is over, the Broncos have moved quickly to set up an interview with Saints’ defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. According to John Elway’s Twitter page, Williams will interview with the Broncos on Wednesday.
