Thursday, July 26th was a major milestone for diehard Bronco fans across the globe! As the sun rose last Thursday, it officially marked the end of the off-season and the true beginning of the 2012 Bronco season. Like a little kid on Christmas morning, I was so excited to get things underway that it was almost unbearable. Unfortunately, my work schedule didn’t allow me to make a trip to Denver for opening day, or even take the day off from work to monitor training camp live via the internet. Due to the popularity of Peyton Manning and the high expectation and hope he has instilled in Bronco Country, I was able to get my Bronco fill on Predominantly Orange, ESPN, and the NFL Network once I returned home from a busy workday. I thoroughly enjoyed former Bronco Tom Jackson’s interview with Peyton Manning as I sat at home enjoying a couple of Colorado microbrews to bring in the season in true Colorado fashion. However, I would have liked to have had a conversation with Scott Hanson of the NFL Network about wearing red to Dove Valley; orange would have been much more appropriate. I understand the Broncos’ leadership has many things on their plate, and dictating clothing color of the media is not one of them. As a diehard Bronco fan, my favorite colors are orange and blue – everything else is useless, especially if it is a color of a rival. The only good thing about red is that you get orange when you mix it with yellow.

(Bleacher Report)

Fans of the Denver Broncos already know how good linebacker Von Miller has been for the team during the first three weeks of the NFL season, and now the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft is getting some recognition from “the worldwide leader in sports”.

ESPN published rankings created by Matt Williamson of the top rookies in the NFL, with Miller leading all contenders.

Miller is the best rookie in the NFL right now, and the competition isn’t even close. He continued to shine last week against the [Tennessee] Titans.

So far in 2011, Miller has racked up nine tackles with two sacks and has forced two fumbles.

Through the first three weeks of the NFL season, Von Miller is the clear favorite for Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. He has done nothing but impress since arriving in Denver and will no doubt continue to do so this weekend when the Broncos travel to historic Lambeau Field to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers.

Even with Broncos football over, there’s still something to tune into.

Check out ESPN’s Year of the Quarterback tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. MST). The documentary’s premier episode follows Tim Tebow as he made the transition from a Heisman QB to a professional QB. ESPN’s camera crew followed Tebow around for six months to see what he went through and how life in the NFL was dramatically different from college.

Bill Williamson of ESPN asked Tebow a few questions about the documentary.

Bill Williamson: What do you want people to take from this film?

Tim Tebow: “I hope it’s a positive message for kids who trying to accomplish their dreams. I want to show them that there are adversity and obstacles for everyone but you can make it. I am honestly living my dream, but I had adversity and obstacles. I want kids to get hope from this.”

BW: What was it like having cameras around you all the time?

TT: “I trusted (director) Chase Heavener. We are they were friends so it was a lot of fun. They were around for six months and it was so fun, I didn’t even notice the cameras. At the end of the day I’d say “Where Y’all been today?” They’d look at me and say “Are you kidding me, we’ve been three feet away from you filming all day.’ It was very natural and I think they got a lot of good footage.”
