In honor of the Kentucky Derby today, we’re featuring this hilarious clip of Kanas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry. Simply put, Berry is terrified of horses.

I’m sure he’s thrilled year in and year out when he has to travel to Denver and watch Thunder storm across the field after every score.

Suprisingly, Berry has his eyes on the Derby today, as he acknowledged it on Twitter. Perhaps so that they don’t head his way and “throw a tantrum.”

Putting Berry aside, as beautiful as these talented Derby horses are, there’s still no better sight than Thunder running across the football field at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

The Broncos can look for evidence in the other 14 games held yesterday, but there’s enough evidence on their own thinned out roster. With that said, many are wondering just how the lockout has effected players injury wise.

“I think that off season conditioning is important. I’m not saying it has to be to the length that its been in the past. It’s hard for me to say too on this team just because it’s my first year with this team – knowing the players, knowing what kind of conditioning level they’re in. I do think there’s something to do with the off season.” – John Fox

The teams most likely to make it into post season play will have most of their starters still playing. That could be a lot to ask this year considering OTA’s were cut out due to the lockout.
