Elway on The Great Food Truck Race

At my house, we are recording The Great Food Truck Race which airs each Sunday night at 8 p.m. CST. The show features a number of teams from around the country with their own specialized food truck. The basis of the show has the teams competing in a different city each week to raise the most money as they sell their product. The team who earns the least amount of money is eliminated from the competition.

Tuesday evening, we sat down to watch the most recent episode; I was pleased to discover the teams would be stopping in the Mile High City. For a person who lived in Colorado and, deep down has an undying passion to always relocate there, I enjoy it whenever Denver and/or Colorado is included in any television show, regardless of the reason. My son and I both got very excited as the show went to commercial and showed that none other than John Elway would be making an appearance. I attempted to immediately fast forward to that portion of the show but was out voted by the family, so we watched the episode in its entirety.

Josh McDaniels’ History

I decided that in the wake of the all the drama surrounding Josh McDaniels at this very moment, it may be educational to take a look back at what it is he has accomplished. I believe in McDaniels’ play calling and coaching ability, but his personnel decisions have been less than spectacular, or perhaps a better word, intellectual. He has made a few good decisions but he has also made a few too many bad decisions. I will try to keep this as unbiased as possible and allow you to make your own opinion of all the wheeling and dealing that is the Josh McDaniels era. Here’s a history of the Josh McDaniels tenure….after the “jump.”

Broncos at Chargers: Likes and Dislikes

A loss is like nasty medicine, it tastes bad and makes you want to vomit. But, however bad the medicine tastes, it’s meant to serve a purpose, which is to revive you from any sickness you may be suffering from. The Broncos have force fed their fans seven bad tasting losses this season. Unlike medicine, however, one can’t imagine there is anything beneficial to be taken from a loss. On the contrary, there is plenty to be taken from this game, both positive and negative.

These are my “Likes and Dislikes” of this Broncos’ loss (14 – 35) to the Chargers.
