The last time the Denver Broncos met the Baltimore Ravens, Peyton Manning didn’t have his typical 300+ yard passing day. He went 17-for-28 for 204 yards with one touchdown.

However, wide receiver Eric Decker had one of the biggest days of his career. He had 8 catches for 133 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ 34-17 win.

Decker was covered by five-year veteran corner Cary Williams, who is having the best year of his career.

“It was my first time going up against him and I think he’s a great player,” Decker said of Williams. “I love being able to challenge myself going against some of the best defensive backs in this league. It just challenges you and sees where your game is at.”

Williams finished the regular season with 75 tackles and 4 interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. He also added 17 pass defended.

Decker ended the season with 85 catches for 1064 yards and 13 touchdowns, easily the best year of his young career.

The Decker-Williams matchup this Saturday is one to keep an eye on. In the Ravens’ win over the Indianapolis Colts last week, Williams was the team’s second leading tackler with 10 takedowns, and an interception.

Demaryius Thomas had 4 catches for just 13 yards in the week 15 matchup.

Will Decker have another big game against Williams or will Thomas be able to find his footing to explode for some yards after the catch?
