It's just a matter of Tracy feeling comfortable. We'll take it a day at a time this week. We'll see how he comes around, and the staff will make that decision come game time this weekend.
You can't have a lead like we had and give it up. That shows a lot of character in this locker room. When you give up big leads like that, it's like you took your foot off the pedal. We can't afford to do that around here.
It's definitely an analyzed subject. I think there is a lot of factors going into playing quarterback. I've had an injury. I'm a different player coming off the injury. I'm on a different team, and so I'm just working on finding my way, and our team is finding our way. I keep mentioning finding o…read more
You look at their roster, it's not like he has Andre Johnson on his team. He has good receivers, but he's the man running that team. We know it going in with his 20 touchdown passes this year. That's a lot to account for in six games.
I had four great years with Tracy, going against him in practice every day. It's always kind of weird to see a guy like that who was such a big part of what you did and all of the sudden he's now on the other side in the game.
This is not a team that you want to fall that far behind because they have the potential to keep scoring, keep extending that lead, so we know what kind of challenge our defense is in for. Our offense is in for a challenge against their defense, and it sure would be nice to try to put together th…read more
I want them to relax and get rested, not come back and then try to recover from this little time off. They understand that. I think they'll act accordingly.
It was remarkable, it was fun. You felt the energy. The fans were amazing out there. It's amazing to be a Bronco right now.
Expect a change in the middle of the Broncos' defense for their game Monday night against the San Diego Chargers. Keith Brooking replaced Joe Mays as the Broncos' No. 1 middle linebacker during the past week of practice.
He's being doing it for a while. I don't expect him to go out there this Monday and not make a few plays. He's a good quarterback. We've just got to limit him.
We love our chances when we turn it into a one-dimensional game with our rush. That's our focus, that's our concentration. We can't allow them to get their running game going.
We're a game out of first place. San Diego's 2-0 in the division, we're 1-o in the division. This is a huge pivotal game for both teams.
"Certainly Tom's been the quarterback that's been around the longest during my time. A lot of the guys that when I started out playing, you know the older guys, the (Dan) Marino's, John (Elway), a lot of those guys are out of the league, and so I guess Tom and I have kind of become the elder stat…read more
This is a real important next quarter because three out of four games are on the road. We do have a bye snuggled in there, and three of the four are conference games and one division game. It's an important quarter and it starts this week.
I think I probably look forward to going just about anywhere with Peyton, but again, they've got a pretty good combination there too. We didn't do too well last time we were there during the playoffs. It's obviously a big game for both of us. They're 2-2, we're 2-2. [We] both had big wins in our …read more
In relation to Tracy, we think he's an outstanding player. He's played very well for us. In this league if you haven't been beat, you haven't played. He's had a great week of preparation and we expect big things Sunday.
I believe in accountability, not excuses. And I regret we were not able to secure an agreement sooner in the process and avoid the unfortunate distractions to the game. You deserve better.
The second-year tight end will be back at the team’s Dove Valley headquarters Monday. Green is near the end of the four-game suspension he received for violating the league’s performance-enhancement policy last season. Green has been missed, particularly in the run game for he may be the tea…read more
